No More Training Wheels

She's now steady as a rock at any speed, on any grade. It happened suddenly, after all these years of using the training wheels.

A Rose By Any Other Name....

One of the last rose photos I may shoot this year Posted by Picasa

We kept Mr. Beasley from yesterday afternoon until this afternoon. Such a sweet, energetic puppy dog. I hope his owners find him a good forever home. He was at three different households over just a two day period. Kept us awake all night and didn't want anyone to nap today, either. So affectionate, I wish he'd been a bit more flexible.  Posted by Picasa

Big Smiles

Here's John opening car door for me. Big smiles all around due to no more dailing visiting nurse required, one more checkup w/ the surgeon and then into the hospital to get lump that was infected removed. It'll just be day surgery, so I'll be home in time for dinner unless I draw a late surgery time!

We had a nice day out in warm fall weather. I shot alot of photos. John later went to the Y while I kept an eye on dinner cooking. We have videos to select from for tonight, so I'm soon to be offline.

Just for fun, BEE sure to click on this photo at least once to view larger. If you wait a minute, click a second time, it gets a bit larger still.

Sunflower, Bee, and this Saturday Morning Posted by Picasa

New neighbors are in process of fresh landscaping, new flooring, new paint inside and trim outside, new deck. They're doing a beautiful job on this major project, while using air mattresses and sleeping bags until the work is complete. Truly in camping out mode, they have only a radio. No computer. No TV. No furniture. Just dust and alot of hard work. Every time I see one of them taking the dog/dogs for a walk, they look so happy. Much of this work they're doing themselves, too. Posted by Picasa

Three happy friends, caught by camera set up on tripod so we could all be in some shots together Posted by Picasa

I'm getting a kick out of explaining my passion for digital photography. John has taken one of the cameras out of my lap (his own, lol,) and decided to shoot this Posted by Picasa

We DID let Malcolm sit down for just a minute or two Posted by Picasa

Heading for home, we're thirsty and hungry Posted by Picasa

We went for a walk, stopping in the park on the way home Posted by Picasa

Malcolm drove from Boise to Beaverton this morning, so one of the first things I suggest is that John, Malcolm and I should take a walk around our neighborhood and into the park. Posted by Picasa
